TalkCut lets you create voice profiles that can be used across your video generations. Voice profiles ensure audio consistency — the same character sounds the same in every shot.

Voice types

TalkCut supports two types of voices:
  • Preset voices — Built-in voice options ready to use immediately
  • Custom voices — Voices created from reference audio you provide

Creating a custom voice

1

Prepare reference audio

Record or gather a sample of the voice you want to replicate. Clear, high-quality audio with minimal background noise produces the best results.
2

Create the voice profile

Ask the AI agent to create a voice from your audio:“Create a voice profile from this audio sample”The AI processes the audio and creates a reusable voice profile.
3

Assign to a character

Once created, assign the voice to a character element on your canvas. This character will use that voice whenever video generation includes audio.

Using voices in video generation

When generating multi-shot videos with character elements that have assigned voices, the AI can include spoken audio matching those voice profiles. You can also reference voices in general video generation: “Generate a voiceover for this scene using [character name]‘s voice”.

Voice creation is inexpensive. The main cost comes from the video generation that uses the voice, not the voice profile creation itself.
